At the beginning, there was a love story.

Between an island not very known yet and a passionate of aviation. Founded in 1987, the airline HELILAGON hasn’t ceased to develop by investing in aircraft more and more efficient and adapted to its different activities.

It has quickly become a favoured partner for incoming agencies, enterprises and regional institutions.

• In 2004, the company transported more than 26 000 passengers, against 2 000 in 1987.
• 7th July 1987: First take off from the airport Gillot Roland Garros with an Alouette III of 6 passengers.
• 10th November 1987: First take off from the Altiport in Eperon.
• April 1988: Apparition of the first Ecureuil AS 350 B, starting point of the actual fleet.
• January 2004: the fleet is composed by 9 Ecureuils including 6 Twin-engine.CEO : Jean-Marie Lavaivre
• Air Operator’s Certificate AOC n° FR-RE 003.
• Part 145 approved MRO Maintenance and Repair Overhaul
